The University of Trieste (UniTS) offers 77 bachelor’s, master’s and single-cycle degree courses, some offered in English, 23 research doctorates, 32 specialisation degree courses, 19 first- and second-level master courses, 5 specialist training courses and 2 teaching assistant training courses. Furthermore the University of Trieste ranks first in Italy for placement and technology transfer staff, who work to actively manage contacts with companies and receive job and internship offers for graduates and undergraduates. Prior to the establishment of Kosovo as an independent state, the University of Prishtina was initially enacted by the then Social Autonomous Province of Kosova on 18 November 1969, which provided a legal status and mandate of the institution as a degree awarding body. Read more here

The University of Montenegro was founded in 1974 and is the oldest institution of higher education in Montenegro.
