Prof.Dr.Edmond Hajrizi
Rector of the UBT
Founder and Rector of UBT, specializing in Information Systems, Innovation, Complex Systems Management, Intelligent Systems, Sustainable Development, Quality, Project Management, Leadership, and Education. Active in public policy and strategy development for various sectors, including education, industry, research, and regional development. Holds degrees in Engineering, Information Systems, and Management, including a Post Doc at City University London and a PhD from Vienna University of Technology. Also, serves as an academic staff member at Vienna University of Technology and Danube University Krems, a Research Fellow at City University London, a Visiting Scholar at Warsaw University, and a World Bank Expert in Research and Innovation. Accredited Assessor for Project Management, System Quality Management, and Excellence. Additionally, involved in the Bologna Membership Process for Kosovo’s Higher Education and serves as the National Contact Point for Horizon 2020 for ICT and FET. A Board Member of Kosova Agency for Statistics and the Editor of the International Journal of Business and Technology, along with various roles in international committees and professional organizations.

An expert of Russian-Albanian relations, with a specific focus on the international relations and security issues. Highly proficient in Russian and Macedonian languages and culture. An expert of Russian policies and influences in the Balkans, in particular in Albania, Kosovo and North Macedonia. An expert of security policies. Prof.Ass.Dr. Xhixha has earned her PhD in International Relations with the thesis “Albanian-Soviet Relations, 1949 – 1960” from Institute for European Studies, University of Tirana. She has graduated the university-level studies on expert of Russian and Macedonian language and culture at the UT, where she was awarded the certificate “EXCELLENT STUDENT” of University of Tirana in 2008. In the course of her studies, Prof.Ass.Dr. Xhixha has combined her proficiency in Russian language and culture with the discipline of international relations, diplomacy and security. She is the Responsible person for Political Science BA, Security Studies BA & Public Policy and Management MA programs; Coordinator of Joint Master PoSIG – Political Science International Relations and Governance Joint Master between UBT and Salzburg University.

Representative of the Project Office at UBT, in charge of coordinating project activities, monitoring project performance, assisting with the reporting and preparation of documents, and so on. Working for several years in the Project Office at UBT, has given her the experience in organizing and coordinating project activities, monitoring project performance, and reporting for national and internationally funded projects. In the last years, she has been directly involved in more than 8 CBHE plus projects, where UBT has been partner institution.

Digital Diplomacy
Dr Dritero Arifi is a Professor at the Department of Political Science—University for Business and Technology-UBT in Prishtina. Also has been two times a WUS-Austria scholarship. His expertise includes security issues, European foreign policy, and democratisation. He holds a PhD in Political Science from the University of Vienna; Dr Arifi worked as an adviser to the Ministry of European Integration of the Republic of Kosovo for over five years.
