Teacher training – EuroPS Project ‘Curricula development for Joint MA in European Political Science’- Salzburg

According to the time plan of the EuroPS the first teacher training workshop was organized at the University of Salzburg between the 07th and 19th March 2016 with the participation of lecturers of European Integration and International Relations subjects. The aim of the workshop is to bring together academic staff from partner universities of the consortium working on the core modules of the master to share their experiences, discuss teaching methodologies and agree on the module content for the joint master. The teacher training was organized around two parallel Workshops, for International Relations (IR) and European Integration (EUI). The Workshop focused on bilateral and multilateral meetings that helped the team identify possible common interests in developing respective syllabuses and learning outcome expectations. An important part of this Workshop was the new teaching approaches and methodology, such as the concept of eLearning, how to build an ePortofolio, as well as on the new challenges regarding the supervision and counseling of Master Thesis.
