INTERVENTION METHODOLOGY: GIPA offers 11 MA degree programs, 11 BA degree programs, PhD programs in Public Administration and Political Science, and three vocational programs. In addition to its degree programs, GIPA serves as a consulting and training provider, pioneering in fields such as General Management, Financial Management, Marketing, Coaching, Sales Management, Hotel Management, Public Relations and Event Management, Health Care Policy, Positive Psychology, and more.
OUTREACH: GIPA’s mission to serve the community is embodied in its role as a platform for expert-level debates and discussions. In pursuit of this mission, GIPA leads the way in providing evidence-based solutions through its Research Department and Policy Evaluation Centre. In addition to research, GIPA enhances its community-building efforts through capacity-building projects at both local and international levels.

Anano Gorgodze
Project Coordinator
Head of the International Relations Office with teaching experience for 10+ years. The field of expertise is as follows: Education Policy and Management; Leadership; Improved Communication; Public Speaking. Her experience includes the expertise of managing various international and local projects (e.g., USAID, the Netherlands Government; Erasmus+; Reserve Fund of President of Georgia). Her expertise includes performance and quality assessment strategies, educational policy and management, leadership and public speaking. Holding Master Degree in Public Administration from Georgian Institute of Public Affairs and MA of Arts in Education, Policy and Society from King’s College London, currently she is involved in PhD studies with the focus of strategic development / management of education policy.
Bakur Kvashilava
Academic Coordinator
Dean of the School of Law and Politics and Professor of International Relations and Comparative Politics, PhD in Political Science, GIPA and MA in International Relations, Yale. Bakur Kvashilava has worked both in private and public sector; 1999-2001 he served in the Office of the President of Georgia in the Department of Foreign Policy Analysis, 2004-2005 he represented a division of ExxonMobil in Georgia, and worked in OSCE Mission to Georgia in 2005-2007. He is the Dean of School of Law and Politics at GIPA from 2007. His current academic interests are in constitutions and electoral systems, political parties, and transformation of regimes. Bakur Kvashilava works on these topics with various relevant organizations and institutions in Georgia and abroad. He is a cofounder of International Relations Association of Georgia and is the Head of the Board of EECMD.
Davit Tsasidze
QA manager
David Tsasidze is a Quality Assurance Department specialist / lawyer. He has obtained a Master’s Degree of Public Administration at the Georgian Institute of Public Affairs and Bachelor Degree in Jurisprudence at Technical University of Georgia. At different times, Davit Tsasidze worked in the public sector as well as in NGOs on local self-governance. Prior to joining GIPA, he worked at the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia. He coordinated the infrastructural projects to be implemented in the regions. His current professional interest is the higher education system of Georgia.
