PoSIG Programme Accreditation Milestones

The Joint Master Programme in Political Science – Integration and Governance (PoSIG) has been a pioneer in implementing the European Approach for Quality Assurance of Joint Programmes.

In 2016/17, PoSIG became the second programme in Europe to be accredited under the European Approach. This initial accreditation was carried out by AQ AustriaResults

Following the expiration of this accreditation, a renewed European Approach procedure was conducted, this time in cooperation with the German quality assurance agency ZEvA. In mid-2024, PoSIG was successfully reaccredited without conditions. Results

As part of an EU-funded Capacity Building project, the PoSIG consortium was expanded to include four new partner institutions in Armenia and Georgia. This expansion necessitated a new accreditation process, which was once again conducted with AQ Austria. The procedure was successfully completed in July 2025, resulting in unconditional accreditation. The accreditation is valid until June 2031. Results
