Joint master in European Political Science – Kick off meeting, October 2015 – Tirana

Joint master in European Political Science – EuroPS was launched on 20th of October 2015 at the premises of European University of Tirana. EuroPS is a projected funded by Erasmus+, within the framework of Capacity Building for Higher Education Key Action 2. The leading institution is Paris Lodron University of Salzburg, while the consortium is comprised by other nine universities from Italy, Slovenia, Macedonia, Albania, Kosovo and Bosnia and Hercegovina. The launch of the project was greeted by the Head of the National Erasmus+ Office in Albania, Ms Edit Dibra as well as Mr. Tildi Çadri from the Public Agency for the Accreditation of Higher Education in Albania. The participants in the launching event were lecturers, researchers and students of the University of Tirana and European University of Tirana and other partner universities in Albania with study programmes in political science or related disciplines. The project leader, Dr. Franz Kok, introduced in details the project and responded to the interest and questions of lecturers and students. Project partner universities also participated in the launch event. The launch event was part of the kick off meeting of the project hosted by the European University of Tirana between the 18th and 20th October 2015. The kick off meeting was focused on: partnership agreements; work packages and project activities; budgeting and quality assurance. All partner universities participated in the kick-off meeting and bilateral meetings were also organized. The next steps of the project were also discussed during the kick-off and the dates of the subsequent meetings were agreed.
